How to be Born Again Prayer in 2020 (Beginner’s-guide)
Hey, are you tired of the worldly lifestyle? Are you tired of being bamboozled by Satan? Do you want to start work with Jesus? Follow these game-changing steps.
Healthy steps to being born again
-
Admit
You need to admit to the fact that you are a sinner. This is actually the hardest thing for a proselyte to do. The bible confirms that “For all (humans) have sinned and come short of the glory of God…..and the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” ( Romans 3:23; 6:23).
- Believe
I want you to know that God loves you and detests sin. Remember Jesus was excruciatingly beaten to death for you to be saved. Jesus was lashed 39 strokes(2corithians 11:24). Don’t let his death go in vain. “God commandeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
-
Repent
The bible said “Repent you, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out….. (For) if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9). The only gateway to heaven is only through genuine repentance.
-
Confess
The mouth is powerful. Confess to Jesus that you are sorry for the wrongs. If possible shed tears from the bottom of your heart to show your sincerity. The bible says, “Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved” (Romans 10:9-10).
-
Invite
Invite Jesus into your life through your prayer of faith. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).
-
Baptism
You need to get submerged underwater as an outward sign of your agreement to the covenant made by his image. You are telling heaven that you have agreed to be submissive to Jesus. The baptism signifies purification and sanctification. “I indeed baptize you, with water into repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire” (Matthew 3:11).
Born again prayer for aspiring proselytes
“Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. I believe you died and rose again. Forgive me of my iniquities, come into my life, and rule my heart. I receive you as my Lord and personal savior today. Help me through this journey, I promise never to return to my filthiness for the rest of my life”, In the name of Jesus name. AMEN
After salvation what next
-
Change in relationship
This is an obvious result of salvation. When you were in the world, you had a steady relationship with Satan. He circuitously influenced you. Immediately, after you were transformed and regenerated your relationship changes to Jesus.
-
Change in behavioral pattern
Due to the change in relationship, you are gradually conforming to the full image and stature of Christ. People must begin to see these changes in you. If they don’t, then something is wrong somewhere. Your life must start depicting Christ in your conversation and dressing or appearance.
-
Change in destination
Do you know after salvation your name is erased from the book of death (hell) and written in the book of life (Heaven)? definitely, your destination is automatically changed.
-
Thirst for evangelism
Personally, this was one of the first mysteries that materialized in me. Immediately after the being born again my thirst for evangelism increased drastically. This must occur; your thirst to spread the gospel becomes your utmost priority. It will gradually swallow you up.
-
Boldness
The bible said God has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit that cries Abba Father (Romans8:15). Immediately after my baptism, I suddenly became very bold before the multitude. I could deliver sermons on Sundays and weekly services. This happened because I started fasting and prayer.
-
Habitual prayer
Don’t see it as a big deal. Make it as conversational as possible. Words like “Father I thank you for the gift of life”, don’t be too fancy with your words it’s just a conversation between you and your heavenly father. (1Thessalonian 4:13)
In conclusion
Congratulation to you my friend, if you said that prayer. Welcome to the community of movers and shakers of planet earth. You need to overcome temptations by simply fleeing from it. God bless you. Did you recite that simple prayer? Click here for a free guide. Did I omit any fact? Was this helpful?
