Is Masturbation a Sin in Christianity?

Is masturbation a sin Christianity? Is self-gratification a sin? But who do I narrate this experience to? I also feel awkward and guilty afterward.

Before you leave, I’m here, I have researched through the effects, causative factors and how to cub this.

After a wide and in-depth research, I came to discover that masturbation is a sin why? Because you are deriving sexual pleasure from a mental picture of someone or watching pornographic materials, which is inconsistent with the principles of God.

before you call me a hypocrite

Let’s get started,

Below is a breakdown of what we are basically going to be considering:

  1. Meaning of masturbation
  2. Scientific perspective
  3. Effects of masturbation
  4. Conclusion

You and I need to go back to the drawing board and address this though conversation, I think it’s imperative we address masturbation as it’s an issue affecting many, I mean almost everyone you know.

masturbatio a sin christianity

Mind you, surfing the internet to proffer solutions or advice on the topic masturbation, sex, pornography. Science holds that masturbation is a natural phenomenon.

They say, it relaxes the brain, improves fertility and enhances erection. Ok if true, does that assertion conform to Christianity? This is a blatant lie and must be disregarded.

Let’s see the meaning of masturbation from a Christian worldview

What is masturbation?

Masturbation is a sexual stimulation in which a person excites his or her sexual organ to get sexual pleasure until orgasm (sexual climax) is reached.

But, I can masturbate without lusting or watching pornography.

What! no! That’s untrue; sin is often associated with lust and selfish desire specifically sexual pleasure.

“It all starts with creating a mental picture or watching pornography, and then a strong urge to be intimate spreads drastically into the tympanic membrane (brain)”.

I believe this is your experience.

Though masturbation was never mentioned in the bible Jesus indirectly addressed it in Matthew 5:28

But I say unto you, that whosoever looks

On a woman to lust after her has committed

Adultery with her already in his heart. (KJV)

However, from inception, God has constituted sexual orgasm and sexual thought in such a way that masturbation only works when there’s a mental picture of someone, pornography or anything aiding the process.

Imagine if masturbation is not a sin, then why was Eve created after Adam? Or why do women exist with a sex organ? Sex was never created for fun, self-gratification or masturbation but predominantly reproduction of our kind (Genesis1:28)

And God said, Be fruitful and multiply

and replenish the earth and subdue it. (KJV)

Imagine if masturbation is permissible, why will Apostle Paul tell the Roman Church in (Romans13:14)

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and

Make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill

The lust thereof. (KJV)

Also in (1corithians10:31)

whether then, you eat and or drink or

whatever (masturbation) you do, do all

to the glory of God. (KJV)

My honest question for you is, is masturbation to the glory of God?, I bet you will say no.

Whatever sexual pleasure you derive outside the confines of your matrimonial bed without your wife is a sin.

Therefore, I vote for yes, masturbation is a sin and must be avoided at all cost.

I am saying this with all humility; disabuse any article telling you masturbation is beneficial to your health. What spiritual benefits do you derive from masturbating?

Do you know that masturbation has detrimental effects on your health?

Let’s take a look at:

Guilt is always a product of sin (masturbation). You think about it, from the seed when the urge arises to create a mental picture and finally masturbate.

Guilt is always the end product because deep inside you masturbation is not in congruence with the principle that piloting the kingdom. Guilt kills a million times before you die.

Sexual discontent

Females often experience this, inserting vibrations into the vagina frequently tends to rip off the clitoris, this single act renders your marital life hell because there will be no more sexual satisfaction from any man in the world.

Though matter how he tries he will never satisfy you. Think about it, do you feel fulfilled afterward? I believe it’s a NO.

Premature ejaculation(PE)

Premature ejaculation occurs when a man experiences orgasm and expels semen within a few moments of beginning sexual activity and with minimal penile stimulation.

Again, this can pose a threat in your marriage life, by not being able to satisfy your wife. Releasing semen before your spouse reaches her orgasm is an impending fire that will ravage your family if not contained on time.

You just have to stop this cheap habit it’s of no benefit to you and God.

Weak erection(WE)

“WE” is also known as erectile dysfunction, is a type of sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the male sex organ during sexual activity.

Again this is associated with the male; your spouse is always disappointed when this materializes. You are unable to sustain an erection for a long time.

Lurked in you is the ability to contain this cheap habit.

In conclusion, misery loves company, so does masturbation.

As I have written above, the scientific notion of masturbation is not incongruence with God’s laws.

There are physical laws that govern the health of your body, brain, and nervous system.

It does not matter if you are Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or secular world. Every day people share their experiences about masturbation and the detrimental effects that follow.

The above-listed side effects are just the tip of the iceberg.

Do you want to contain this addict real quick?
