The Gospel According to Everton Mlalazi
Painting pictures with words is a complex class of Literature. In focus is Everton Mlalazi, a gospel artist from Zimbabwe who graced the Nigerian stage last Christmas and gave the Victoria Islands’ audience some goosebumps with an awe-inspiring performance.
The aforementioned managed to touch the hearts of many with his lyrical abilities and smooth vocals. Hosted by our superstar Sinach, the Zimbabwean singer/songwriter performed at the Christmas Concert dubbed, ‘Sinach and Friends Love Feast’ and left the audience wanting more.
Everton Mlalazi was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and he started his music career in 2014. His debut album, “In The Presence”, was received with critical acclaim on the continent and has earned him the moniker, ” The Son of Asaph”.
Everton has a loyal fan base due to his lyrical exhibition and they all claim that his content accompanied by a melodic voice has always managed to touch their hearts and make them feel the presence of the Lord.
Asked about his journey, Everton alluded that he feels like, “The Modern day Paul”, but with a mission to spread the word of God with craft. It is safe to say he is in the right direction thus far as his accolades speak volumes of his success.
Everton promises he will continue to touch the hearts and souls of Africans and beyond through the many songs he is yet to release.
